Interested in growing naturally resilient plants for naturally beautiful landscapes? This is the class for you! Join us as we explore the history, beauty and significance of native plants in our ecosystem and how to use them effectively in landscapes. On this guided walk through Hudson Gardens, we’ll identify some common native Colorado wildflowers, trees and shrubs. The program will also include a discussion of the devastating effects of noxious weeds on native plants and environmentally-responsible methods for weed control.

This program will begin at the Hudson Residence Business Office classroom before venturing into the gardens for a walking tour.
